Meg Kettell is a cinematographer based in New York City. She owns an Arri Alexa camera and shoots commercials, narrative films, documentaries and branded content. She is best known for her natural, beautifully honest shooting style that is both striking and realistic. Meg brings this distinct stylized realism to all of her projects.
Meg has been collaborating with directors for over fifteen years. A passionate visual storyteller, she loves traveling, meeting new people and telling unique stories. She has been all over the world, working in over 25 countries and across the United States. She has filmed in such places as Kenya, Vietnam, Thailand, Armenia, Guatemala, Cuba, Iceland and South Africa.
A member of IATSE Local 600 [International Cinematographers Guild] and a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Meg won the Bahoric-Meisel Award for Women Cinematographers two years in a row. She works with some of the best film crews in New York City and around the globe and her cinematography has screened at numerous film festivals, including the Tribeca Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival.
